Our Durban 2024 Tour. After being trapped in the snow for two days, we had to sleep in the bus the first night as there was no accommodation available anywhere in Harismith. We could finally get to Durban and had to squeeze a 5 day itinerary into two and a half days. Challenging yes, but thanks to a wonderful and understanding group we made it through.

Daar is groot opgewondenheid by drie inwoners van George, Kobus en Mary van Wyk en hul dogter Tramary, wat op die oomblik in Parys Frankryk is. Hulle kon ongelukkig nie kaartjies kry vir vanaand se eindstryd tussen die Springbokke en die All Blacks nie. Hulle het alles probeer om kaartjies te kry maar was nie suksesvol. Hulle gaan saam met baie ander Suid-Afrikaners in 'n openbare plek kyk. Die Van Wyks het wel onlangs die halfeindstryd tussen die All Blacks en Argentinië bygewoon. "Hier is 'n ongelooflike atmosfeer. Dit maak nie saak watter span jy ondersteun," het Mary aan George Herald vroeg vanmiddag gesê. " Dis net wonderlik om hier te wees. Dis elke sent werd. Die Springbokke se ondersteuners is optimisties maar so ook die All Black ondersteuners." Hulle is deel van 'n groep wat insluit Suid-Afrikaners en Namibiërs.In die groep steun sowat 70% die Springbokke. Volgens haar is daar baie Suid-Afrikaners in Parys en daar is 'n goeie gees onder hulle. "Almal sien baie uit na die wedstryd."
