Underrated trophy to pursue….. Ostrich are not easy to get close to as their eye sight is excellent and they have quite a vantage point being taller than most of the scrub you can hide behibd while stalking! Long shots and precise shooting is needed to bag one of these ancient almost jurausic like specie!

Iconic specia of Southern Africa…. Gemsbuck is not the easiest animal to hunt on foot, they can see, smell and hear better than most animals and are most of the time in herds! It is always a challenge to get close to harvest a beautiful trophy like this!

Hard work, Patience and persistence ALWAYS pays off, after passing a lot of shootable bulls looking for something exceptional we got our opportunity with this beast of a buffalo!
These Dagga Boys mostly satelite big herds so working the edges of the herds of 200 buff plus it pays off. Can be frustrating sometimes having to work through that many buff for the right bull but when you find him it is worth all the hard work!

Cameroon update!
We were looking for bushbuck next to a river when we cut the tracks of a coue of buffalo, decided to track@the small herd and have a look at them to see if there is a nice bull in the herd. We spotted this monster of a Savannah Buffalo within the herd.
After a couple of times manouvering to get a open shot at this bull our hunter made a perfect shot at about 50 yards. A short exciting follow up in thick “baku” next to the river we found him in thick brush.
Not everyday you connect with a West Africa Savannah buffalo of this calibre.

Since I can remember, hunting a East African Impala was high on my bucket list of hunting goals….. Once again I have been blessed to be able to tick it off my list by guiding my hunter to this monster in Uganda.
