Just had an incredible day exploring two of Ireland's top "Can't Miss" sites!

First stop: The House of Waterford Crystal, where we got to see master craftsmen transform molten glass into stunning works of art. It was mesmerizing to watch! Did you know that these master craftsmen must first undergo 8-10 years of intensive training? And if a piece isn't absolutely perfect, it will be smashed!

Next, we headed to the legendary Blarney Castle. Legend says if you kiss the Blarney Stone, then you'll be blessed with the gift of eloquence & persuasion (AKA the "gift of gab"). Well, if you ask my husband, I'm pretty sure that I didn't need to kiss the stone to achieve THAT, but of course, I kissed it anyway!

The castle grounds were equally magical, with lush gardens and hidden pathways that felt like stepping into a fairy tale.

Ireland, you keep outdoing yourself!

Another incredible day exploring Ireland's rich history! We wandered through the breathtaking Glendalough, one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland, founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century.

Then, we headed southwest as we made our way to the Dunbrodie Famine Ship. Our tour guide was so engaging and included us into his skit to tell the history behind this authentic reproduction of the 1840's vessel. He shared the moving story of how 1 million desperate Irish emigrants fled to come to the New World due to the potato blight. Such a moving history lesson!

Hello Dublin! 🍀

Explored the city with the Hop-on Hop-off Bus, which is the perfect way to soak in Dublin’s charm and history.

We toured the Teeling Whiskey Distillery, which opened in 2015 - Dublin's first new distillery in 125 years!

No stop in Dublin is complete without a stop at The Guinness Storehouse! We learned about the history & brewing process of Ireland’s iconic beer and enjoyed a pint at the Gravity Bar with stunning 360-degree views of the city.

Grateful to share this experience with my travel colleagues and our amazing travel supplier, CIE Tours—what a great start to explore Ireland! Sláinte! 🥃🍺
