Today's virtual adventures took our residents on a whirlwind journey from the bustling streets of Shanghai to the scenic beauty of St. Vincent, Ecuador, Brazil, and the Grenadines. From an active volcano to a heartwarming puppy bowl, and a tribute to our veterans at an Air Force Base, each experience was unforgettable. A huge thank you to Virtu-Well for making these incredible journeys possible!

Working on-site in various healthcare facilities with elderly residents and patients in a nursing home setting assisting impaired individuals with the use of virtual reality equipment.

Requirements:
-Tech Savvy

-Friendly, outgoing, patient, and comfortable with working in a nursing home/clinical environment.

-Must show proof of covid vaccination and be willing to be rapid tested occasionally as well as be willing to wear a mask at all times.

-Must have SUV or midsize truck able to transport equipment from job to job

-Able to learn about new technology

-Must have an excellent understanding of computers

-Able to drive to locations in NYC, Long Island, Brooklyn, Bronx, Westchester

-Experience working with the elderly, disabled, and cognitively impaired.

-Flexible Schedule able to provide full availability at least 2 months in advance

Job duties:
-Driving from site to site on a punctual basis. Driving may include up to 2+ hours of commute per day. Gas & tolls are not included.

-Working on-site at up to 3 locations per day for 1.5-2 Hour durations

-Respectful interaction with residents and patients of all ability levels and from all walks of life

-Explaining new technology to rooms full of people and answering any questions they may have.

-Giving short presentations about the technology including its history, how it works, and the benefits as needed. Memorization of FAQs provided as well as other important information people may ask you about is important.

-Setup and Breakdown of equipment in a safe, sanitary, and professional manner as instructed in the manual provided.
