Had enough figs this year for some fun experiments! Today it was roasted figs wrapped in prosciutto plus a couple jars of fig jam. I’m always needing fig jam for recipes so now I will have my own for the winter!

I’m closing my jewelry shop! It’s been a wonderful 10 years but with homeschooling two kiddos, running my home, arranging flowers with , and running my other two Etsy businesses something had to give! Hey friends! After 10 years I'm closing my Etsy jewelry shop and have marked everything down 50%! I may come back to it some day when the parenting journey is less intense but for now I'm gearing up for homeschooling 2 kids of the three kids in the fall while still running two other Etsy shops and volunteering at a local farm! Today was our first snow and after playing outside with the kids all morning I came inside for a piping hot bowl of posole made with my very first beautiful, delicious, sustainably raised chicken from . I’m so blessed to live in an area where I can source all my meat locally and I’ve got another chicken and turkey in my freezer I can’t wait to use!
