Swishy, squishy, rainbowy bootlace w**ds at Kimmeridge Bay.

Taken with Nikon Z8, Nauticam Z8 housing, 24-50mm with the WWL-C wet lens (amazing combo), and 1 single Retra Pro Max in HSS mode using UW Technics HSS converter.

Nice. I love the way the w**d filaments diffract the light into rainbows.

More Lembeh octopus action. This big, presumably female, mimic octopus was a beauty. Often the larger mimics and wunderpus octopuses can get quite tatty as they loose arms from run ins with both predators and prey. I like the wider view that the EMWL-160 lens gives this shot, putting the animal in its environment. We left early for this afternoon dive to get the chance to shoot this area before it falls into shadow at 3pm. I rarely see mimics mimicking anything much, but spending time watching them is always a treat.
