I would just like to congratulate and wish the best of luck to the Class of 2020 seniors I got to work with this year. This year was especially great for me because I got to work with several families who have been repeat customers, some wonderful friends, and even some family. My wish for all of you next year, wherever you may be, is that social distancing is in your rear view mirror, college campuses are open, and each of you are pursuing your dreams.

Love it when we get nights and sunsets like this for my senior photo shoots! This “behind the scenes” shot was sent to me by my client as we came back off the water a couple of weeks ago. Straight out of the iPhone. These sunsets are one of the things I love about shooting in Florida.

This is my personal favorite from last weekend's senior photo session with Tucker. He loves being on the water, and we spent a fair amount of time in his element during the shoot. Moments like this help illustrate why he loves it so much. Really enjoyed working with him.

Meet Hank! Hank is an awesome, lovable, goofy, stick eating, water loving, fluffy Golden Retriever, and his parents loved this picture so much that they decided a very big metal print version of it should replace some of the diplomas and stuff in Hank's dad's office. I think they made a good decision. Most people would rather look at Hank than the diplomas anyway.

Happy to learn that Backroads (www.backroads.com) has selected another one of my Alaska vacation photos to appear in their 2019 North America trip catalog. The image below was taken on our Backroads Alaska Family Multi-Adventure trip during the summer of 2017. If your family enjoys outdoor activities on vacation, (biking/hiking), I recommend checking them out. We've been on several vacations with them, and they have all been great.

Excited to share a great example of local San Marco businesses and residents collaborating on a cool project. Last summer, Dr. Leandra Dopazo asked me to work with her to help realize her vision for a new website, using images of her actual patients. One weekend, we shot images of more than a dozen patients in her office, in a studio, and on location, and we realized that many of my high school senior shoots had included patients of hers, so we got permission to use several of those images for the website as well. The result is a beautiful, modern website featuring "models" who are actual patients and real life examples of Dr. Dopazo's expertise and outstanding orthodontic work. Full disclosure, both my boys were patients of hers. Anyway, all the Home Page banner images are my work, as are any images with "actual patient" on them, and several others sprinkled throughout the website. One of the real joys of shooting high school senior portraits is getting to work with families that we've known for years. It's even better when I get to photograph someone who is totally in his element. Austin loves to fish and would rather be on the water than just about anywhere else. Our goal was to capture that piece of him in his senior photos. This weekend we had the most amazing weather, and, with the help of the whole family, I think we accomplished the mission. I don't usually share this many at once, or as a slide show (never done it before), but couldn't share just one. Several of these are meant to be viewed "big," and I don't know how big or high quality this slide show will play. So, if it's small to tiny or grainy, I may re-share a few individual photos. Set your video playback to HD! Enjoy your senior year, Austin!
