Stewie was created the summer of 2011 when my two year old son, Brody, discovered boats at a lake we were visiting. We went to a marina to check out the new boats and he could have stayed there all day! We left there with a brochure of boats for him to look through. He wanted to read the brochure every night before bed. I made up stories using the boats in the brochure and he named each boat. He l

oved boats so much that his uncle bought him a boat with a trailer and truck which turned out to be his favorite toy! So I decided to do some research and look for a cute children’s boat book, and to my surprise, I couldn’t find any current ones. That is when I came up with the idea of writing a book. And that is when Stewie was born!
