De Malagnou à la place de Neuve, partez à la découverte des fabuleux musées concentrés au cœur de la ville et plongez-vous dans l’histoire de Genève.



Descriptif du parcours

La balade traverse des zones de verdure et des hauts lieux de Genève, comme la Cathédrale Saint-Pierre ou la promenade des Bastions. Le parcours débute dans le parc de Malagnou, où l’on peut visiter le Muséum d’histoire naturelle et se poursuit à travers le quartier des Tranchées, où l’on peut voir de magnifiques collections d’art. La promenade continue dans la vielle ville avec des musées thématiques abordant notamment le passé historique et religieux de Genève. Elle se termine vers la place de Neuve, à la frontière du quartier populaire de Plainpalais.

Grande cité d’Europe dès le Moyen Age, carrefour religieux et bancaire majeur à partir du XVIe siècle, ville internationale au XIXe et XXe siècles: Genève possède un riche passé. Cette promenade, vous présente des vestiges de cette histoire passionnante et révèle l’exceptionnelle concentration de musées et de collections particulières qui s’offrent à vous.
