Just in case anyone was looking for an exciting way to ‘pop the question’ or give your loved one an amazing, different experience this Valentine’s. I do have availability for caving adventures on the weekend beginning the 14th February 2020 😉. It’s been a bit dark, gloomy and wet over the past few weeks but we’ve done our best to adventure on. Despite the poor weather last weekend, we visited a safe site and enjoyed the roaring waterfall, hearing our echos sing, hunting for fossils, scrambling up and down slopes and of course as all Peppa Pig fans know, you can’t beat jumping up and down in muddy puddles!! Merry Christmas/Feliz Navidad to all! We enjoyed a lovely little caving trip in Cantabria to work up an appetite for our Christmas dinner. Looking forward to lots more underground adventures in 2020.

After a very wet trip at Ribblehead last week it was nice to enjoy some sunshine today. I had a lovely trip up onto the side of Ingleborough with a lovely family I have caved with before. Today’s itinerary was Long Kin East Cave. Water levels were plenty low enough for an explore and with a good forecast we enjoyed a leisurely trip with a picnic on the surface afterwards. @ Austwick

Strans Gill, Upper Wharfedale. This has been on my tick list to do with littlies ever since I first did this route with my then husband to be 8 years ago (pre-kids). Today we thoroughly enjoyed our family adventure (border collie always included of course!).

4 groups of cavers guided around the Ribblehead Caves by Johnny and myself this morning. A successful taster session and perfect weather for drying all the gear off afterwards! Thank goodness for Inglesport helmet hire as we had such a large group. Have you ever wondered what lies beneath the Yorkshire Dales but don’t want to commit to a full on caving trip? Then a taster trip might be just what you’re after. On Saturday 6th July I am running 1hr morning and afternoon sessions especially for anyone who just wants to have a go, learn a little geology, give the kids an amazing experience without breaking the bank or for individuals who’d like to join a friendly, relaxed group. All you need to bring: warm clothes and a spare set for after, wellies or walking boots and a sense of adventure! £12 per adult £10 per child. U18s must be accompanied by a parent.
