“ANGOLA ASSINA ACORDO COM A ONU TURISMO PARA ATRACÇÃO DE INVESTIMENTOS”

Aconteceu na tarde do dia 23 de Janeiro em Madrid, capital da Espanha, a assinatura de um acordo de cooperação entre o Ministério do Turismo de Angola e a ONU Turismo.

O objecto do acordo inside sobre a promoção e atracção de investimentos para Angola e será uma importante ferramenta para o desenvolvimento do turismo no nosso país.

Para o Secretário-Geral da ONU Turismo, Zurab Pololikashvili, este é um momento histórico e importante para Angola pois representa a aposta certa para o crescimento sustentável do sector.

Para o Ministro do Turismo, Márcio Daniel, é uma honra para Angola contar com o apoio da organização: “Angola está numa fase determinante para o desenvolvimento do turismo. Pretendemos atrair investimentos e criar todas as condições para sermos um destino à altura dos maiores do mundo. O apoio da ONU Turismo é primordial para alcançarmos este pressuposto”, declarou.

Durante a reunião, foram abordados temas em comum, tais como a realização da II Reunião dos Ministros do Turismo e Transportes de África a ter lugar no mês de Julho em Luanda, a visita do Secretário-Geral da ONU Turismo a Angola, a criação de uma escola de Turismo do mais alto nível, bem como outros projectos em carteira.
