Well it soon will be time to be airborne again. The 2022 Sandy Travel tours commence with the six day Newfoundland tour on June 8th. Following in September/October will be Cape Breton, Italy , Ireland and Portugal. Mary Janet and I had a pleasant visit with these gals who are part of the group heading to Newfoundland on June 8th. Happy Birthday to this chap who is a valuable member of the greater Port Hood community and indeed beyond. Each candle represents 25 years so he still will be posing in many more pictures at the race tracks before he needs the third candle.

Big Game 7 win for Tururo Bearcats last night as they defeated Valley Wildcats 4-2 to win the provincial Junior A championship. I enjoyed watching as my nephew James Beaton, the Broadcove boy, did his best Brendan Gallagher imitation. He had two key assists and was always in the action around the crease. James is pictured lower right wearing the cap and his biggest hockey smile. Second picture is at another of his traing grounds,the Broadcove concert field.
