The Pink Pigeon, also known as "pigeon des Mares" or "pigeon rose" is an endemic bird which has been rescued from extinction during the last thirty years.
In 1990, there were only 9 individuals on the island and its population is now more than 400... still very rare! They feed on seeds, fruits and leaves 🐦🌳🌳🌳
