“I can’t say enough about the fantastic time we had on our trip, and it was all due to Sarah and her knowledge of the country and attention to detail. If you've seen the international news, you know that flash floods are currently ravaging southeastern Spain and there has been lots of damage and loss of life, particularly in the beautiful Valencia area 😟

Here in Seville (southwest Spain), it's still dumping down and our communities are trying to keep people safe and off the roads 🚫

Thanks to all who have reached out to make sure Spain Savvy staff and our travelers are safe! 🫶

The toll, focused in the eastern region of Valencia, makes this Spain’s worst natural disaster in almost 30 years.

Nothing like an R&D weekend in one of our absolute favorite villages in Andalucía. If you’ve followed us for a while you know all about our obsession with Vejer de la Frontera! Check our blog (link in bio) for a few deep dives on the spot and one of its best hotels.

We explored new properties and visited with Carlos who is an amazing guide in the area. We ate like kings and queens and had a fabulous time together as a family. It really confirmed this town is perfect year round!

We rarely have the chance to spotlight our clients here on the blog. But when we heard this beautiful love story, we felt it deserved a spot of its own!

This summer Bill and Tina took their entire family – kids, grandkids, and all, ages 10 to 81 – on a trip to the Costa del Sol in southern Spain to celebrate Tina’s 80th birthday. Why choose southern Spain? It was here in 1967 on the beach of La Carihuela that Bill and Tina fell in love.

“We just returned from our visit to Vejer de la Frontera and Seville that Sarah and her team at Spain Savvy fully arranged. All aspects were flawless and met or exceeded our expectations.

Two standouts were our driver/guide Luis and Seville guide Manuel. Luis added much local color and history as we toured the countryside and Atlantic coast of Andalusia. He was able to accommodate changes to our itinerary as we realized that we over-scheduled activities and needed some down time.
