Nauams is located in an area of transition between the Acacia-Tree-and-shrub Savanna and the Nama Karoo within the Western-Central escarpment, offering a good mixture of flora and fauna. The landscape is relatively flat, with moderate inselbergs with seasonal ground dams, which allows for hours of pleasure for the adventurer, game- & bird viewers.
