Egypt & Petra, Jordan
Petra is a famous archaeological site in Jordan's southwestern desert. Dating to around 300 B.C., it was the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom. Accessed via a narrow canyon called Al Siq, it contains tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs, earning its nickname, the "Rose City." Perhaps its most famous structure is 45m-high Al Khazneh, a temple with an ornate, Greek-style facade, and known as The Treasury

We all reminisce about our wonderful experiences traveling through the Holy Land! Friendship Tours is one of the few companies that has not sent a single group to Israel since October 7, 2023. We will NEVER, put profits over protection! We regularly receive requests from pastors and request them to be patient and pray for the protection of Jesus land. We shall return very soon.

MARS HILL, Greece. Paul addressed a group of philosophers meeting on a rock hill called the Areopagus (Mars Hill). Idols were humanity's attempt to make gods, but Paul preached that humans cannot make the true God. God has created humans, and all that is in the world. There is only one God, and it is wrong to put anything above him.

PHILIPPI, Greece
Christianity took root in Philippi and prospered. One of the earliest known Christian church buildings in Greece, a church dedicated to St. Paul, was constructed at Philippi during the 4th century. During the 5th and 6th centuries at least four additional Christian basilicas were built in the city.

On our four day Greek cruise we visit the Greek island of Patmos where John was imprisoned. John of Patmos (also called John the Revelator, John the Divine, John the Theologian; is the name traditionally given to the author of the Book of Revelation. Revelation 1:9 states that John was on Patmos, an Aegean island off the coast of Roman Asia, where according to most biblical historians, he was exiled as a result of anti-Christian persecution under the Roman emperor Domitian.

On our "Journeys of St. Paul" tour, one of the ports on the four night cruise is Ephesus. For two years, St. Paul continued to tell the people of Ephesus about Jesus and the Holy Spirit. He wanted everyone to understand that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit were stronger than any other power. Paul performed many miracles in the city of Ephesus.
