Attention travelers! The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has announced that starting May 7, 2025, federal agencies will enforce REAL ID requirements for official purposes, 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬.

Here’s what you need to know to be prepared:

🛂 What is a REAL ID?
A REAL ID is a state-issued driver’s license or identification card that meets enhanced security standards established by the REAL ID Act.

✈️ Who needs it?
Anyone planning to board a commercial flight within the U.S. or access certain federal facilities will need a REAL ID-compliant license or ID by this deadline.

📋 How to get a REAL ID:
Visit your state’s driver’s licensing agency website for details on the process and required documents. At a minimum, you’ll need:
1️⃣ Full Legal Name
2️⃣ Date of Birth
3️⃣ Social Security Number
4️⃣ Two Proofs of Address of Principal Residence
5️⃣ Proof of Lawful Status
