This was a perfect place for a holiday with extended family or friends.
The house is super spatious and very well equipt. Especially the kitchen it had eveything you would need for a home from home stay.
The hosts have thought of every detail and
the house was very tidy and clean.
The beds were super comfy.
We absolutely loved the pool. The children spent hours playing in it and swimming.
The garden is secluded and beautifully kept with fruit trees.
The bbq is brilliant we had a bbq most days!
The house is much more beautiful than the pictures portray and so much more spatious than what we expected.
The WiFi connection is fast, the smart TV works well and their is a DVD player with a vast collection of DVD's of you fancy a movie night.
The nearby, village of Angeja. Which is a short drive away has everything you need for your stay. They have a brilliant butchers and a couple of grocery stores, a barbers and a couple of traditional Portuguese cafe/bars.
Locally you can buy the most amazing seafood, wine and everything you need from any of the supermarkets at nearby Averio.
Averio is a lovely town to wander round. You could have a meal, coffee or an ice cream in the vast array of eateries.
Then to complete your experience you can grab ride on the river on a gondola!
Oh and not to forget there is the most amazing bread which you can buy locally. The bakery that bakes it is literally on the doorstep!
A short 15/20 minute drive takes you to beautiful, white sandy beaches. We visited Costa nova and Barra they were both lovely resorts with lots of nice places to eat.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were really accommodating.
We hope to be back to Citrus Tree House sooner rather than later!
It was just perfect, a tranquil and relaxing escape from the busy day to day world in which we live in.
We couldn't reccomended this place highly enough.
