What to remember when you're flying with your kids✈️

Its always a stressful time packing your family, making sure you have everyones tickets, keeping track of everyone while at the airport, make sure everyone goes to the bathroom before boarding, snack time, etc.... The list is so long you might end up forgetting to breathe!

A few helpful hints when your flying into Orlando International Airport:

📌I suggest flying Southwest Airlines, everyone is allowed to check a bag for free and still take 2 carry on bags. I also recommend checking in 24 hours before your flight to secure seating for your whole family together. Most flights will be full and you have to remember not everyone is as mannerly as you are.

📌Allow each of your children to pack 1 backpack that has a dry snack, books, puzzle, tablet w/headphones, or a good book. It makes them feel responsible by helping you with even a small thing like this. Plus, its always nice to make an extra photocopy of their boarding pass for them to keep in their bag for identification purposes.

📌GUM GUM GUM if your child is old enough not to get it in their hair, pack it!!! It will help with the elevation climb in the airplane. If you have a baby bring something they can chew on! It doesn't only help them with the "ear popping" but the other passengers ears from the crying.

📌I know everyone would rather sit in the front to get off the plane first but sitting in the back has its benefits. You know your family will sit all together, bathroom is right there and the snack cart comes to you first!

📌WiFi in the airplane usually has a cost, but something really neat most airlines have is a flight tracker.... When you try logging onto the web the airline site pops up and at the top it has a link to your flight. If you click on it, it shows you where you are, how much longer, weather, times, etc... Its a great tool! And the kids can see where you are and "how much longer".

📌Make sure 1 person has all the tickets in hand and be responsible for the flight information. Get a envelope and keep all flight and resort reservation documents together.

📌Stay calm!!!! You're on vacation, getting there is tough but once you see your transfer, let the staff do the heavy lifting.

📣Use a Travel Specialist, because if you would come across any problems we can step in to help. We are trained with the knowledge of the details you might not think of.

💗 Valentines Day is now less than 2 weeks away, have you bought your loved one a gift yet? Are you not sure what to get them this year??? Don't worry I have found a trip that would be perfect to give to them on the 14th.

Good Morning 🌞☕

Omg we are tired!!!!

We absolutely love living in driving distance to Walt Disney World. We really needed a Disney day yesterday so Mike and I took Shelby and her best friend and did three different parks. Because we are passholders and we go a lot we really don't go for the rides we just go to hang out and take in the environment. Disney is so much more than the rides if you want rides universal and six flags are great for that.

So we started at Epcot walked around World showcase grabbed a coffee at joffrey's and they had a deviled egg flight at the American pavilion so we had to try that sucker.
Then we went over to Hollywood Studios, for linner (It's a meal between lunch and dinner) at Hollywood Brown Derby they have a fantastic no reservations needed outdoor seating area so you could people watch and of course we got the Cobb salad. We did make Tower of terror as well as rock and roller coasters so that was a plus!
And then we went to Magic Kingdom for fireworks! Because you absolutely have to end the night with the best fireworks ever, And one last ride on people mover before having to drive home!

There's something about being on Disney property when you do it right that is absolutely amazing and the reason why we continue to go back. It's all about the perspective of the trip, This is why I'm good at what I do because I like to try to put my clients in the same mindset So that they don't get stressed out and they just take in those little moments that happen while you're there.

I know it is Ground Hog Day today...but I want to talk about something else that is "celebrated" today. NATIONAL BROWN DOG DAY! 🐾

I am lucky enough to own a Chocolate Lab who travels with us quite often. He has been to about 17 states with us and has also been to Ontario. There have been some trips we have taken with our RV, like Disney and Yellowstone National Park, that were just not going to be enjoyable for him because they were not "dog friendly" locations to travel to.

I have been traveling with dogs since I was a kid and as an adult I have almost always had a dog that traveled with me. Whether it be a cabin at a resort in Canada, different campgrounds around the US and even hotels, I have the experience to help you travel with your furry companion!
