A deep dive in the daily life of Kenya, that's what we experience during our trip. Not only the stunning nature or in search of wildlife but also the local people; projects, workshops, the little villages and communities where they grow food, prepare meals in the street, run little shops or create crafty items. Like here in Kibera, one of the biggest slums of the African continent, in Nairobi - Kenya.

Would you like to take a unique look into the life of Kenyans? Contribute to education for girls, planting trees and creation of fair paid jobs? Learn about the growing and production of coffee, the weaving of sisal baskets or the creation of wood carved items?

Join on a tour from 29th of May till the 13th of June. Only three seats left.

Never published before by me. The interview I had with Samantha McCord of The conscious basket show.

If you scroll down you can pick the part where I talk about the trips that I organize (19:00m), the inspiring Karunga Women group and how they fight Period Poverty (24.44m) and other aspects.

Would you like to meet makers, see the impact of fair trade by yourself and see a different side of Africa?

Join us on our tours in Spring 2024.

The ultimate Africa experience, that is ultimately what I offer. For me 'usual' or 'logical' and it even feels 'standard' but it is MY standard; personal attention, from arrival in Kenya till departure, taken care of in every detail possible with an extreme passion for the people, the makers, the initiatives and projects that with so much enthusiasm and dedication work for a better tomorrow in Kenya.

Would you like to contribute to the projects, meet the makers, see their craftsmenship, experience Kenya and capture this country in your heart? Consider joining me on the trip of your life!

We get to parts there where most tourists do not go (Machakos, Nakuru, the Kibera slums) but also there where the tourist goes (Karen Blixen Musuem, Masai Mara for Safar, the Victoria Lake) and we meet different tribes; Kamba, Kikuyu, Masai, Luhya, Luo and Kisii.

I organize Trips to Fair Trade Projects

Next trip: 15 till 30th of October!!

Dear reader, Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my page. I am a Dutch woman that is passionate about creating job opportunities in developing countries, especially for women and differently abled people. I take groups to Kenya to show them the impact of fairtrade certified projects. To meet the makers of the gift items and to understand the importance of buying ethical. During this trip we will meet basket weavers, wood carvers, textile makers, upcyclers, but also a coffee farmer and we visit a fairtrade rose farm. Besides the projects there is time for fun, leasure and nature; we go on a Safari, take boat trips and go for a walk in the rainforest. Join us from 15 till 30th of October on the next trip. More information; www.producentenreizen-kenia.nl (currently Dutch only, sorry!) Please e-mail me; [email protected] or WhatsApp/Call +31625584721 Have a great day!
