The most scenic church of Goa, with a zigzag climb. The church is located on the heart of Panjim, few minutes away from fontainhas. The popular market of Panjim is located just infront of it. River Mandovi is also located very close.

One of the traditional manner of having bittersweet coffee in Spain: having it with a bite of Chocolate. The chocolate can be dark or normal, according to personal taste.
The coffee with chocolate is of Parador de Santillana Gil Blas, located in the medieval town of Santillana del Mar. The Parador hotel group is a chain of luxurious hotels which renovates the ancient mansions or palaces of Spain and turns them into luxurious hotels.
This hotel also features the ancient architecture of Spain, which practically gives the feel of medieval era.
Coming to the coffee, it had a unique bittersweet taste. The Spaniards have an uncanny habit of mixing a bit of whiskey in the coffee to add spacial flavor. The bitter taste of coffee are sometimes combined with a perfect bite of sweetest chocolates.

Gnocchi, the classic Italian pasta is generally made with potato. Various regions of Italy claim to be the birthplace of this popular pasta. Although, it is most possibly invented in the northern part of Italy.
The most traditional way to serve Gnocchi is in the tomato sauce, which is the version of Verona city. Although, various regions of Italy has their own version of serving this popular dish.
The potato version of Gnocchi is most probably invented in fifteenth century, after the Spaniards had brought potato from Latin America and introduced in Europe. Before potato, Gnocchi used to be made with flour and breadcrumbs. It can also be made with semolina.

In the eve of Kolkata welcoming Guatemala as the theme country of International Kolkata Bookfair 2019, presenting one of the very popular drinks of this country. Horchata ( pronouncing orchata as H is silent in Spanish) is a typical drink of Guatemala which is emotionally connected with this country. Although, this drink is popular in other countries of Latin America and Spain, Guatemala, the land of Mayan civilization, has a special connection.

A typical Guatemalan Horchata is made with rice, evaporated milk, cinnamon, vanilla. It is believed that the rice Horchata was invented in the Yucatan province of Mexico. No wonder, Guatemala, the country adjacent to this province, will adapt this delicious drink as their own.

The people of Guatemala believe that if you are unhappy while making Horchata, you cannot bring the exact taste. So, you must be happy while making this drink to bring the perfect taste.

23rd January, the birthday of great National hero of India, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He was the founder of Azad Hind Fauj, one of the bravest troop of the Freedom movement of India.
In the honor of this brave hero on his birthday, presenting of one of the famous food joint of Kolkata, linked with his name. Laxminarayan Sau and sons is one of the most oldest and important food joint selling the typical street food, 'Televaja'. They claim that this joint was favorite of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. A statue of Netaji is also present in front of the shop to seal the claim.

Televaja is a typical street food of Kolkata. It is small fried balls, made with various kinds of vegetables like potato, onion, chillies etc.
This traditional shop offers a variety of televajas. Apart from the common alur chop, piyaji, there are various kinds of uncommon flavors of televaja. The taste is divine, and very very easy on pocket.

'Casado' - the word literally means married. For the beautiful Latin American country Costa Rica, Casado signifies their national dish. The reason? There are many elements are present in this dish which stay together, like a married couple.
Casado is mostly eaten on the lunch. The main dish contains rice, beans, various types of meats or fish, salads. Like us, rice is the essential part of casado. The rice must be accompanied by black beans. The other elements gradually varies according to the taste. Meats or fish are often present, along with various kinds of salads like pasta salad, vegetable, or potato salad. The taste is very authentic, light yet tasty.

The first casado is from Restaurante and Sports Bar el Sol, located near Manuel San Antonio National park in the region Puntarenas, Costa Rica.

The second one is from La Tortillería de Freddo of Heredia province. The owner of restaurant also produces and serves very fresh Strawberry and various kinds of desserts made from it.

Churros con Chocolate, the name of this unique dessert is mostly known. Although its origin is not known, it is typically a Spanish dish, consumed mostly in breakfast.
Presenting the place most typical to have Churros con Chocolate in Madrid. Chocolatería San Ginés is serving mouthwatering Churros from the year 1894. Located in a quiet lane of the city centre, it is few minutes from the famous Puerta Del Sol.
I have rarely seen this place without a long cue. You can only take a seat after you have ordered. I especially like their serving style, balancing a number of churros dishes in one go.
Pocket pinch- around 320 Rs (£4) for a plate (Two plate is sufficient for three people if you are not planning to have only this for dinner).

The churros tasted best if it is raining. Sitting in one the outdoor table with umbrella, having Churros with hot chocolate is definitely an experience of a lifetime.
