There are so many roads in Scotland that I've wanted to ride for years now. As luck would have it, this summer has presented me with a month long opportunity to do just that...no job, no commitments, no hassles. So I figured, why should I be the only one to enjoy this opportunity? That's why I'm inviting any of my friends who have bikes to join me for as much or as little of the trip as you can ma
nage. The plan is simple: a rough route map, a mix of camping and hostels, eat when hungry, sleep when tired. I'll be posting live updates of progress each day (where possible) so that people can arrange to meet me wherever I am. There's no fixed schedule, the whole point is to have complete freedom. Even if you don't have a bike, I'm up for meeting folks as I'm passing your hometown (a cup of tea and maybe the odd shower would be welcome, a bed for the night would make you a saint!).
