Ammirando la natura 🤓 Il macaone (Papilio machaon) è un lepidottero appartenente alla famiglia Papilionidae.

Questa farfalla, tra le più grandi della sua specie (può arrivare a 10 cm di apertura alare), è facilmente riconoscibile per i colori intensi delle sue ali, ma è abbastanza rara da vedere anche perché, nello stadio adulto, vive solo per circa due settimane

Grammichele, the town was built in 1693, following an hexagon shape, after the old town of Occhiolà, located to the north of the modern Grammichele, was destroyed by an earthquake 🤓

Here we are in the center of the hexagon, in the Piazza Carlo Maria Carafa, faced by the Mother Church, San Michele Arcangelo, and the Palazzo Communale (City Hall).

Svizzera? No, Sicilia 🤓

Il Lago di Licodia o Lago Dirillo è incastonato in un paesaggio ricco di verde che farebbe pensare di non essere al centro della Sicilia 🏞️

Si tratta di un lago artificiale realizzato attraverso lo sbarramento del fiume Dirillo tramite la diga Ragoleto. Il bacino con capacità di oltre 20 milioni di metri cubi, è stato attrezzato come zona turistica sportiva e consente, oltre alla pesca, la pratica del canottaggio 🚣

Le acque sono popolate da varie specie ittiche lacustri come il luccio, la trota, la carpa ed il persico 🎣
