The way to the top is not always easy and maybe how you pictured it but if you put the effort in the view from the top is always worth it! ~ Like life sometimes it’s not easy and sometimes it’s not what we planned but keep working at it there’s always “viewpoint” days ❤️

The greatest goal you can have is to push your own personal limits and reach new goals. Don’t get caught up in what other people are doing, do what makes you feel happy! For everyone that “happy” is different. We all don’t love hiking or eating out or travelling or being lazy or gardening or shopping or golfing or biking etc… so do YOU and you will be happiest ❤️

We stayed at the nicest cleanest Bed & Breakfast over the last few days up in
Saint Quentin, New Brunswick

We wanted to spend time at Mount Carleton Provincial Park but we didn’t want to tent and as most of you know it can be difficult to book the cabins there as they are usually booked!

We asked around on hiking groups for places to stay in the area and this wonderful place came highly recommended by many so we booked it! We were not disappointed it’s so so clean and the owner answers all your questions promptly by txt. They do have some dog friendly rooms but you need to check first if those specific ones are available.

There was lots of food left in the fridge to make our own breakfast every morning. We brought our own little bbq to make our suppers outside.

It is a really quiet relaxing place about 20-25min from the park entrance which was great!

Just sharing because we loved our experience here and wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

They even made our fur baby the cutest neck accessory ❤️

Fundy Trail Parkway opened this weekend!! Had to try out a trail we had not been on. Definitely a bit challenging but worth it 👌

Make sure whatever you bring in you take out! It was nice to see very little to no garbage on this trail today 🥰

More time outside and less time inside = better mental health!
Your tired...I’m tired...we are all tired! Tired of not being able to see our family, tired of not being able to do all the things we used to do! We spent the better part of the weekend outside this weekend and it felt like my brain went on vacation at least even if we can’t! It was like a mental break from news that is depressing!

Nope we are not always ok but then again who is these days? The best we can do is one day at a time and try our best to make that day great... then try again tomorrow ❤️
*always be careful when exploring in the winter especially around water trails ice melts ice pieces fall...today it was very cold*

The best days are when they are spent exploring! Remember all those waterfalls that you went to visit in the summer they looks pretty cool in the winter too if you able to get to them! But be carful exploring in the winter when snow covers things that could be dangerous

Having fun doesn’t have to cost money! It doesn’t even require you to travel very far! Look around where you live for free seasonal activities. Get out...get exercise...and most of all laugh! Laughter is good for the body. There are a few skating places around Moncton and surrounding areas that are free to use and maintained. New Brunswick / Nouveau-Brunswick

Recently we purchased this PacSafe backpack for our travels. ***I’m aware that if somebody wants in your bag they will get in. BUT This helps to definitely deter most. We loved it because we could carry our extra valuables in here that don’t fit in my purse like cameras and batteries etc. We both found it to be comfortable to wear and we are both completely different size people. Although it’s warm on the back just like most other day packs We used this as our daypack and carry on and loved how much more comfortable we felt in tight or crowded places. This is not an ad we are just sharing purely for your benefit if this is something you have been looking into. I would advise you to get it on amazon as this bag at the time was more money off their website. We loved the plain black colour as it did get super dirty in some places we had set it down. Can you believe this is in the city? Quite an amazing place this is the Henderson Waves area of the park. There are beautiful trails all up and around Mount Faber area.

When your driving down the hwy and you stop to enjoy the view ❤️🐘❤️. This was so amazing to see Botswana is a truly beautiful country! There is a lot of planning and research that needs to go into doing a Safari. Make sure you do the proper research and know what you are getting. There are many different experiences that you can choose from do the one that’s right for you. We learned so many things and definitely recommend going to Africa on a safari. It’s the most magical experience you will ever have if you love animals. There are no words that explain how cool it is just to see hundreds of animals ❤️ On the Go Tours this tour we did was Victoria Falls Zimbabwe to Johannesburg, South Africa.

How cute is this guy❤️. How can you not fall in love with Africa? It is a place like no other. An unforgettable experience. Need To Travel To Survive

We started out doing some resort travel and the more we went the more we became travel addicted. Over the years our style of travel has changed and changed our outlook on where we go and destinations we choose. We always treat any and all holidays as a “Trip of a Lifetime” so that we maximize the amount of fun to be had as life can be so unpredictable. For Barb I guess that travel obsession started many years ago when I finished High School and took the Travel and Tourism course. Little did I know this many years.
