I found this bracelet that made a couple of years ago. It’s the one with the double strand cord. Ummm, it’s not very creative. 😆 So last night I took it apart and turned it into the bracelet with the black woven cord. Much better, don’t you think??? It’s fun to see how much more creative I’ve gotten over the years. 😊 I think the little chain that the heart dangles from may be a little long so I might change that but besides that I’m really happy with it. 💛

Tonight I took pictures of my beach glass and yes…I have added a few pieces and put them in a different jar since I last posted pics. Eventually I will make something with them but right now I’m enjoying just looking at them. Here’s the story of my beach glass journey. 💙🌊💙

At the end of August my mom and I took a trip to Lake Erie to look for Beach Glass. I fell in love with the lake and her beautiful beaches. My journey began at Mentor Headlands and over the next 4 months I would return 7 times to the lake either on weekend trips with my mom or just solo trips for a couple of days. I got to share my love for Lake Erie with my family and Matthew and his friends even helped me search for beach glass in Sandusky after the had spent the day before at Cedar Point.

With my travels I have found that my favorite beach is still at Conneaut Township Park. I practically had the beach all to myself in November and I loved every minute of it. I think my next favorite beach is Walnut Beach in Ashtabula. I chose that one because I loved sitting on the breakwater wall watching the sun set over the lake. It was beautiful.

I am missing the lake and her beauty and would love to make a trip when she is covered with ice. Maybe not to search for glass…just to enjoy her peace and quiet.

With the end of the year approaching I thought I would share the treasures that washed up on her shores. Some may see lots of broken glass…but I see treasure. 💙🌊💙🌊

P.S. The picture where the glass is glowing was taken by using a 365nm flashlight. Pretty neat, huh???

I’ve made a few trips to Lake Erie over the past few months to collect beach glass. I’ve had a some people ask me what I’m going to do with the glass. I’ve seen some beautiful pieces of jewelry made with it but I’m just not sure right now what I will do. I love looking at it and hate to part with any pieces. So, this is what I’ve done so far. Isn’t it beautiful? P.S. This is multiple pics of the same jar AND I still have more pieces to add from a trip a couple of weekends ago. 💙🌊💙🌊
