FOR THOSE OF YOU RETURNING HOME: Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) teams continue traveling the county assessing damage to homes and businesses from wind and flooding. As part of this process, crews are marking structures that have been surveyed to denote whether they are safe to enter and/or occupy.

Your home may have a mark on it. Please see the below to understand what that mark means.

-- An unmarked square means your home is safe to enter. Minor damage may be present.
-- A square with a line through it means your home is significantly damaged, but some areas are safe. Call a Structural Engineer as soon as you can.
-- A square with an X through it means YOU CANNOT ENTER YOUR HOME. Your home is NOT SAFE and is subject to sudden collapse. Contact a Structural Engineer IMMEDIATELY.

If you have any questions, please call the Emergency Operations Center at 904-824-5550
