Taking a moment to talk about business goals for this little biz of mine. I have BIG goals for it, like BIG goals.

Last night I checked off one that I have been working hard towards for the past year. I am now officially a Super Agent within the Travel Leaders Network.

Super Agents are travel advisors who have been recognized as top experts and trusted advisors through the Travel Leaders Network’s Agent Profiler tool. I’ve had to complete multiple steps in my profile, as well as, earn a specific number of reviews to reach this level.

I am so thankful to my amazing clients for helping me reach this goal. I could not do this job without them. I truly love helping people experience the vacation they are dreaming about. I’m looking forward to growing this business into all it can be, especially with my amazing growing travel base!

Every now and then Facebook likes to mock me with memories from amazing trips we’ve taken.

9 years ago we took our 2nd Alaskan cruise. It was just as amazing as the first one. I tell everyone that if you get the chance to cruise or travel to Alaska, do it. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place!

When your dining reservation is on fire 🔥

Kimonos at Sandals Royal Bahamian is a Teppanyaki style meal. It’s dinner and a show! You need reservations for this restaurant so you’ll want to be sure you let your travel agent know if you want to dine here.

This meals was delicious and our chef was so great!

When all inclusive truly means all inclusive. 😍

Looking forward to a few days at a Sandals Resort soon. I’m not one ounce stressed because I know everything is included, even tips, taxes, and gratuities. Even airport transfers.

I can’t wait to have appetizers at one restaurant, dinner at another, and dessert at another.

I can’t wait to kayak and paddle board, sit by the pool, and read some books. Then go dancing and sing at the piano bar. There’s so much to do and it’s all included!

Can you tell I am excited?😆

Christmas in July! 🎅🏻

The countdown may be wrong but the joy in my heart is not. I LOVE Christmas. The holidays just make me so happy and sappy (thanks ).

I love helping my clients gift their families vacations. Sometime we keep the secret for MONTHS! I’ve even had to use code when texting/emailing clients so as not to ruin the surprise.

There’s no rush quite like the rush of riding Tron Lightcycle/Run. I love the feeling of the wind in my hair while riding!

Riders wishing to enter the Grid must be 48 inches or taller and must be in the Virtual Queue or have a Lightning Lane to ride.

The port of Galveston is closing due to Hurricane Beryl.

When traveling during hurricane season it’s always a good idea to pay close attention to the weather. However I know life can be busy so here are a few tips I recommend if you are considering traveling during hurricane season:

1. Purchase Travel Insurance - weather happens and if you’ve seen any kind of spaghetti model, you know that storms can change paths as any moment. Have travel insurance helps protect you in case of delays or cancellations.

2. Pack for rain even if it’s not forecasted - Depending on the size of the storm, it can send rain and wind miles from the heart of impact. Especially if you are cruising or visiting southern US states.

3. Book with a trusted travel agent - Your travel agent should be able to keep you up to date if a major storm may impact your travel. They should stay up to date on cruise port operations and many major airport operations. They should be in constant contact with you about your upcoming trip as well. At times like this, the value of booking with a travel agent can be immeasurable.

Have you traveled during hurricane season?

Galveston Wharves offices will be closed Monday, July 8, due to Tropical Storm Beryl. Also, on Sunday, July 7, the port advised port tenants and employees working at the port to cease operations and vacate the premises in anticipation of flooding and high winds in and around the port complex through Monday.
