A recent trip leaving South Africa 🇿🇦 to Botswana 🇧🇼 and onto Namibia 🇳🇦. Crossing the mighty Limpopo River and making our way up to Kubu Lodge just outside Kasane. The morning sunrise over the Chobe River was breathtaking. Onward to Namibia passing great floodplains, amazing wildlife and onto Nunda Lodge to find the Northern Carmine Bee-eater. From there back to Kubu Lodge for an afternoon boat safari in the Chobe National Park and having African Skimmers all around us.
CyberTracker assessment completed and I attained 91% and in so doing gaining a level 3 track and sign qualification. A special thanks to and for running the course and really testing us during the assessment. It was great fun and I leant a lot. .guides.association.of.sa

An amazing encounter with this leopard and it’s young buffalo carcass that it was feeding on. He eventually got it up a tree to feed on it at his leisure. 2 youngish male lion passing through the Notten’s property from Dudley towards Mala Mala. They seemed rather nervous when we first found them and we reckon they may have been chased by a more dominant coalition of males. A great sighting nonetheless! An amazing encounter with a large leopard in the Sabi Sands Private Nature Reserve, Kruger National Park, South Africa 🇿🇦. We were on a short bush trail last week and came across these 2 impala rams fighting at the waterhole in front of Notten’s Bush Camp, Sabi Sands Private Nature Reserve, Kruger National Park, South Africa 🇿🇦.
