My name is Augustine Rutasingwa, a private tour guide in Tanzania. Welcome to my webpage and this blog where I will be sharing tips on traveling to Tanzania. I can not do better than other writers but I can tell you what they didn’t tell you.
And to kickstart this blog I feel better to start by writing how to fall in love with Tanzania.
There are so many reasons for you to fell in love with Tanzania, but I have these few with me!
Safety and Friendly
The most important part of being a traveler is to be re-assured you are security and safety. Whether traveling to Tanzania for business or pleasure, you will always find yourself warmly welcome. There is no comparison for any other country that beats Tanzania for security and safety.
The Tanzanian people are willing to give assistance, you get lost do not worry just run to a strange; greet and ask any help from Direction or more. The lucky part is language is not bit of problem for out of 10 people there will be 4 people who can speak a good English and other might be trying but no barrier unless you speak asian languages, few speak chinese etc.
Hospitality
Well, Tanzanians are the master of hospitality. From guesthouse, lodges, hotels and resort. There is a large number of accommodation to suite anyone. In addition our foods are very delicious and you should try some. We also have chefs who can cook anything, making you feel well treated.
Tourism
Tanzania has seven official World Heritage Sites. Teeming with diverse wildlife and a spectacular sight, Ngorongoro is the largest unbroken and unflooded volcanic caldera in the world.
Serengeti is the breathtaking outback venue of the annual migration of millions of wildebeest combined with an evolutionary trip to Olduvai Gorge, Laetoli and the Kondoa Rock Art Cave Sites takes you back to your human origins. Selous, Ruaha and Katavi are unspoiled remote wildernesses, home to thousands of elephants and bovines, and packs of rare African wild dogs and other diverse predators. Lake Tanganyika is among the most beautiful lakes in the world. Lake Manyara was a personal favorite of Ernest Hemingway.
Climb the Kilimanjaro on an uphill strenuous stroll, the highest mountain in Africa, shining in the morning sun above a pedestal of cloud. Trek past its glaciers to the highest peak, or peer into the magma pits of the Mountain of God – Ol Doinyo Lengai by Lake Natron. Silver beaches and limpid seas set off the wonderful Swahili architecture of Stone Town in Zanzibar, important as a significant trading port, a heady blend of cultures and focus of the abolition of slavery. Combine Zanzibar with a history trip to Bagamoyo or even Kilwa to see the ruins of Kisiwani and Songo Mnara.
Thereafter, head off to the private island of Fanjove or Lazy Lagoon for an unadulterated beach escape. Find all the fascination of African travel in the inimitable richness of Tanzania.
