We said good bye to the Disney Wish yesterday. It was a sad day as we had been having so much fun over the weekend. The only good thing is knowing we have another Disney Cruise booked for next year!!

Happy Castaway Cay day!!! We actually decided to stay on the ship today and enjoy the pool and AquaMouse with much lower crowds.

My daughter and I rode the AquaMouse 6 times before she decided it was time for some pool time. With 0 minute wait we didn't even have to get off.

Disney's Castaway Cay is Disney's Private Island in the Bahamas. It offers a family and adult only beach , lunch, waterslide and kids club all on the island it is a full day fun day.

Today is going to be a day of seeing things we missed and unfortunately getting ready to debark the ship bright and early tomorrow morning. These 3 night sailings are a great way to introduce yourself to Disney cruise line but having at least 1 full sea day with the 4 nights is my recommendation. Our list of must dues is very long today and many things could have been checked off on that sea day.

We have arrived in Nassau and Royal Caribbean's Utopia of the Seas beat us here this morning!

The plan for us today is to hang out on the ship and complete more of the Uncharted Adventure (a game available on the Wish via the Disney Cruise Line app). We may get off for a bit to see the new port area.

So speaking of Utopia of the Seas - this ship from Royal Caribbean does 3 and 4 night sailings similar to the Wish. With stops at Nassau and Perfect Day it is a great weekend cruise option as well.

I will try to post to the stories more often today. :)

We have arrived and are onboard the Disney Wish.

Upon arrival at the port we were given Boarding Group 1 since we arrived from a Disney Resort. This is not guaranteed to happen every Cruise but was nice to be one of the first on the ship.

Stop 1 - Donald's Cantina on Deck 11 for lunch.

Then we are off to explore more of the ship.

I will be posting more throughout the weekend so if you have any questions send them over.

When cruising is always highly recommend arriving near the port the day before your cruise at a minimum.

We did just that today and have arrived at Disney's Boulder Ridge Resort at Wilderness Lodge. This is a Deluxe resort and we are staying in a 1 bedroom villa that sleeps up to 5 people.

These villas feature a full kitchen and washer and dryer which on longer trips really comes in handy.

Tomorrow we are taking Disney transportation to the port and since we are staying at a Disney resort the night before we didn't have to select a port arrival time. I got the email yesterday that told us our pick up time.

Now time for some Halloween activities at the resort before we head to bed for a good night's sleep.

Marceline Market is the buffet location onboard and offers you 10 food stations and a café-style beverage bar, with both indoor and outdoor seating available.

My favorite place to dine for lunch is Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods. Discover a variety of delectable offerings and fan-favorite treats from uniquely themed food stations like Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue, Donald’s Cantina, Daisy’s Pizza Pies, Goofy’s Grill and Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream.

Happy Monday!!! This week I am preparing for a little family get away aboard the Disney Wish so wanted to bring you along to get idea of what a Disney Cruise vacation could be for your family.

The Disney Wish is currently the newest ship sailing in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. She is sailing 3 or 4 night sailings from Port Canaveral with the majority of cruises visiting Nassau and Castaway Cay.

When you enter the ship for the first time you are greeted by name and see the beautiful Wishing Star chandelier and of course Cinderella statue because what better choice would it be to show that wishes can come true.

This ship is a wish come true for guests. They will experience and become a part of their favorite stories from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar like never before.

Congratulations to the S Family!!! They just booked an amazing stay at Universal Helios Grand Hotel and will be staying in one of the coolest rooms on property - How to Train Your Dragon Kids Suite.

This themed suite gives families lots of extra room and sleeping areas:

Size: 545 square feet
Beds: A king bed in the main area and two twin beds in the kids' room
Bathroom: Separate bath and vanity areas
Common area: A small sleeper sofa and a small refrigerator
Maximum occupancy: Five guests

Congratulations to the D Family that were my first family to deposit their EPIC Universe vacation package this morning!!!

They decided on staying at Loews Royal Pacific Resort for their stay and will have the Unlimited Express Pass included in their stay for Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure.

They are also planning to attend Halloween Horror Nights during their weekend.

Of course they will also be visiting the brand new EPIC Universe park!!! With 5 portals to explore the biggest question will be where to start.

Tomorrow is the big day...Universal EPIC Universe ticket/hotel packages go on sale!!!

This new theme park in Orlando will take you beyond anything you have imagined. Putting you into some of your favorite movies and video games as well as taking on some of the most iconic movie monsters before introducing you to an all new area in Celestial Park.

As we get ready for the release of Universal Orlando EPIC Universe tickets and packages next week, I looked back at my trip with my pre-teen this past summer.

Universal Orlando is one of her favorite places to visit - she loves all things Minion and Harry Potter and honestly we spent a large amount of our time in the new Dreamworks Land.

I asked her what she is most excited about and she told me - the new Harry Potter section and Super Nintendo World!!! That doesn't surprise me at all because she has been begging to head back to Universal Hollywood to visit their Super Nintendo World too.
