We are very proud to have provided this service for nearly 20 years! Tumble Town's Objective
Our objective is to increase the quality of the enrichment program offered to the children by providing them with the services of a professional, reliable, and experienced gymnastics program. Tumble Town's Goals
In addition to fulfilling its objective, Tumble Town's goals include providing boys and gir
ls with a curriculum designed to teach the basic fundamentals of gymnastics. In addition to learning gymnastics, children will enhance flexibility and strength, increase mind-body coordination, sharpen their mental awareness, develop self-esteem and social skills, and most importantly have fun! Another goal is to provide parents with an affordable and convenient opportunity that enables their children to enroll and benefit from our program. Tumble Town's Operations
Tumble Town is a mobile gymnastics program that caters specifically to private schools, public schools, day care centers and pre-schools. Tumble Town provides all apparatus for the program each week and no on-site storage space is necessary. Each visit, Tumble Town will arrive with a different mix of colorful equipment to continually stimulate the interest of the children. Equipment includes mini-bars, floor beams, balance beams, vaulting blocks, spring boards, parallel bars, climbing wall, mini-tramp, tumbling mats and crash pads, a wide variety of helpful geometric training aids, and a parachute, as well as hula hoops, bean bags, bubble makers, and even a "magic" rope. Tumble Town is committed to providing the highest quality program available. We employ stringent safety standards and maintain an average student to instructor ratio of 8 to 1 and never exceed 10 to 1 at any given time. Tumble Town focuses on children between the ages of two and twelve, but will happily accommodate children older than this. Classes will run approximately 30 minutes and will consist of three sections. They will begin with a flexibility and warm-up period. Tumble Town recognizes the importance of proper stretching and warm up before engaging in physical activity. An entertaining stretch will be followed by a different warm-up game each week including parachute, obstacle courses, magic rope and other innovative activities. The second section will be devoted to tumbling. Floor training is the most fundamental area of gymnastics training as all other aspects of the sport incorporate the basics learned here. After tumbling, children will practice on one or more of the apparatus. Vaulting, beam, bars, parallel bars, mini-trampoline and springboard will be rotated each week. At the end of each class, all children will receive a sticker or stamp to congratulate them on a job well done.
