Was it symbolic that I had the worst stomach bug of my life on New Years Eve? I was literally purging any remnants of 2016. I awoke feeling like my body was a clean vessel and vowed to fill it with only the things; food, relationships or work that serve me and make me happy. My mother has always given me the following advice: 1) If you don't think it's beautiful or useful, get rid of it 2) What other people think of you is none of your business 3) No man is looking at your shoes 4) Your day will go the way the corners of your mouth turn 5) If you aren't going to be upset by something 5 years from now, let it go 6) Just Ask (for the upgrade, the business, the favor), most people genuinely like to help
Out with the old, in with the new. Do what serves YOU and quit what doesn't. The rest will fall into place. You are strong, you are loved and you are never alone. God bless and Happy 2017!
I hope in the New Year, you quit lying to yourself about what you really want and find the courage to go after it.
