Visited the Apartheid Museum, Mandela’s home before he was imprisoned, and walked around some of the surrounding communities. When Mandela was imprisoned he was allowed to write 2 letters a year, in English, and each could only have 500 hundred words; he was allowed one visitor per year for 30 minutes.
Joburg started a revitalization of its city, cleaning up neighborhood by neighborhood, creating a lot of wall art, spaces for creative minds to sell their art, clothing, etc., you should consider visiting!

Our arrival in Volterra was a highlight of our morning. The village was even more adorable than we had expected, with its cobblestone streets and ancient buildings. When we arrived many shops were still closed, and when we left it was bustling. If you're looking for alabaster this is the place.

Yesterday we went truffle hunting! They used to use pigs, but it was difficult getting the truffles from them and now they use dogs. The dog is a Lagotto Romagnolo and a bit shy. When he finds a truffle he marks it…yep he pees! And sure enough he found three truffles that looked like lumps of dirt.

I'm on a Culinary Journey Through Tuscan adventure, and today was pasta-making day! We feasted on our creations: ravioli stuffed with basil pesto and mascarpone, fettuccine with Parmesan and truffle oil, and pici with olive oil. Oh, and we tasted 9 wines because why not?

Yesterday I hiked to the next Cinque Terre’s village, Vernazza, and on a scale of 1 to 5, it was an 11! All the hairs on my head were dripping with sweat! I had the crazy idea to hike to all the villages…not happening, but the views are amazing!

Just when I thought things couldn't get any wilder, we left Nairobi and ended up in the middle of a wildlife party! We're talking hippos sunning on rocks and monkeys with blue balls (I kid you not)! And let me tell you, those zebras know how to rock a striped onesie like no other.
