Visited the Apartheid Museum, Mandela’s home before he was imprisoned, and walked around some of the surrounding communities. When Mandela was imprisoned he was allowed to write 2 letters a year, in English, and each could only have 500 hundred words; he was allowed one visitor per year for 30 minutes.
Joburg started a revitalization of its city, cleaning up neighborhood by neighborhood, creating a lot of wall art, spaces for creative minds to sell their art, clothing, etc., you should consider visiting!
