I see myself. ..and other black women but not nearly as effective but for her and others like her, we would have no fight in us. They showed us how we can make a difference. For her we must, keep going.

Polly Jackson, a shining example of bravery, was a conductor on the Underground Railroad, illuminating the path to freedom. With unshakeable resolve, Jackson valiantly fought off slave catchers with a kettle full of hot water and a butcher knife. Jackson lived in a tight-knit community of free African Americans near Ripley, Ohio.

Thank You Black Soldiers
Black soldiers have made significant contributions to the United States of America. African Americans have served in the U.S. military since before the American Revolution. Representation in the military shows that Black Americans make up a larger percentage of the military than their share of the United States population. As of 2020, there were over 2.4 million African American veterans in the U.S. We thank you for your service, sacrifice, and valor. Privileged to have cared for all of my brothers.

So sad and perplexed. How could this be that the majority voters could be so blind to his actions and deaf to his words? SHE is far superior in intelligence and intent. While I am despondent, my heart goes out to HER. She worked tirelessly.
