Crested Lark, unlike its confiding cousin the Thekla Lark, is skittish and never still for long in the company of people. So, it was great that this individual stayed long enough, as it adjusted its attire, for me to have time to get a snapshot.

ABS are proud of our association with the Montagu’s Harrier project and our funding reached over 10,000 euros this year to assist with facilitating the work carried out by the group’s many volunteers. Although this year was a difficult one for Montagu’s in the region, the project was still able to contribute to sustaining a micro population locally in the La Janda area. Please visit our news section on the following link for both the interim report and end of season summary. There is a facility for people to donate to conservation efforts at the end of the article.
