One of my favorite treats in Paris ❤️

Le Mont-Blanc est la pâtisserie signature de la Maison Angelina. Sa recette, créée au début du XXe siècle est la même depuis sa création : une meringue française, sèche et croquante, sous un dôme onctueux de Chantilly, recouvert de vermicelles de pâte de marrons. Sa forme serait inspirée de la coiffure féminine en vogue à l’époque : le carré court plaqué. 🌰

🇬🇧 The Mont-Blanc is the signature pastry of the Maison Angelina. The recipe, created at the beginning of the 20th century, has remained the same since its creation: a dry and crunchy French meringue, under a creamy dome of Chantilly, covered with vermicelli of chestnut paste. Its shape is said to be inspired by the women's hairstyle popular at the time: the short plated square. 🌰
