Paddling down the river into the city center where you will be able to see the historical old town bridge and the wharves, Nidaros Cathedral, Kristiansten fortress, and old boats along the channel. It´s easy to imagine yourself paddling through the past as we glide by colorful old warehouses, the medieval Nidaros Cathedral, and the formidable Kristiansten Fortress. We also explore the river´s channel near the harbor and see sights hidden from the usual hiker. 🛶

After a busy Christmas season, it is time to add more safaris to our Rovaniemi selection!😍

First we would like to introduce our snowmobile specials for the spring winter:

Excursion to Aurora Borealis Camp by Snowmobiles (tue, thu, sun):

Experience the Arctic night by driving through the snow covered forest and on the frozen river to the Aurora Borealis camp. With a little luck, the sky is clear and the Northern Lights may show up. Bergen is known for it's quaint wooden buildings, but you can also find areas with a different kind of buildings with a historic feeling. This photo is from Parkveien (view from Musehagen), close to Nygårdsparken. Most of the buildings in this area are from the late 1800s 😃

This is Skeppsholmen island, a must-visit when in Stockholm! The central, lush oasis is just the right size for taking a refreshing walk around while admiring fantastic city views. 👌
Despite being a rather small island, there are plenty of places of interest to explore here.

Great art and design can be seen at Moderna Museet and ArkDes, Asian culture at The Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities Östasiatiska museet, Northern Europe’s biggest collection of toys and comics is found in Stockholm Toy Museum and delicious food, fika and drinks is available at Hotel Skeppsholmen, Café Blom, Glassverkstan - Skeppsholmen and Torpedverkstan Skeppsholmen ☀️

Hahns fiskarstugor på Öland

Just nu befinner jag mig på Öland för att deltaga på Svensk AmatörAstronomisk Förenings 40-års firande som sker i helgen. Natten till idag passade jag på att ge mig ut i den mörka öländska natten och ta lite bilder på Vintergatan. Här en bild tagen vid Ottenbys naturreservat på södra Öland. I förgrunden syns en av Hahns fiskarstugor.

Det blir en spännande vecka här nere och förhoppningsvis många klara nätter.
