Kimber specializes in bespoke luxury travel. She can assist with your next luxury girl’s getaway, ultra-adventure expedition, remote and exotic escapes, female solo travel, and luxury wellness vacations. Kimber's love for exploration began at a young age but grew into a passion after traveling abroad to more than six countries and 49 of the 50 United States solo (Hawaii being the last on her list). Knowing she had to turn this passion into a career, she began traveling to more exotic locations over recent years to advance her global knowledge and moved to the luxury leisure market in January 2019.
Kimber, Owner of Maverick Travel Company, is an affiliate of Departure Lounge & Virtuoso Travel, and provides travel inspiration and planning services highlighting personalized travel itineraries with a deep dive into both cultural and health and wellness adventures. Her favorite travel memories include glamping in the Moroccan desert, touring Mount Denali by small plane, sipping coffee on the balcony in Cuba, renting a car and driving through France and Italy, swimming the islands of Krabi, and so much more.
Kimber’s affiliation and relationship with Departure Lounge makes the travel planning process enjoyable and rewarding. Departure Lounge is a retail travel agency with locations in both Austin and San Antonio, Texas. Kimber can personally meet with you and your traveling companions to dream and discuss your upcoming travel plans. She is, of course, also happy to connect with you virtually.
