Day One, Part Two of the Alpine Cat Jamboree 2024. We started at an elevation of about 4,500 feet and climbed Mt. Howard to the summit of 8,240 feet. There were about 30 cats that showed up to the event. We were with the first half of the group that went up. Day Two and Day Three pictures coming soon.

As some of you might already know, we had some problems while getting to our 5th Annual Alpine Cat Jamboree. Had a truck fire on I-84. Thankfully everyone is okay and we were able to get out in time. Thanks to one nice gentleman, Jason, who stopped to help, we managed to disconnect the trailer with the sno-cat on it just in time and pull it further away from the burning truck. Our goal is to still try to put on the Alpine Cat Jamboree the best we can even though some things were lost. So thankful to all those who have helped.

Snow day at Alpine Cats. Heading out to see how the roads are. Think we will keep the steel tracks put away and take out the rubber. A little more comfortable.

We've been working on this sno-cat project throughout the last month or so for a buddy. It had been sitting for 20-30 years and we finally got a little snow today and were able to take it on a couple mile test run. The list was long of the things it needed but it's amazing how original this cat is. Happy to help you out . And always happy to help get these tracked machines back on the snow.

It's always interesting what you might find while cleaning out an old sno-cat. Found this Smokey the Bear Department of Agriculture sticker from 1970 and a matchbook from the 60's with JFK. Sno-cat is a 1956 Tucker model 443.

This is a photo that was sent to us by a fellow catter with his 1977 Tucker model 542 that purchased a whole set of new rollers from us at Alpine Cat Tours, Inc. We are all starting to get more snow now so he was able to try them out for the first time this season. We are happy to be part of keeping these machines alive and on top of the snow.

Happy New Year from Alpine Cats! We are anxious to get out on the snow with our machines. It's been difficult due to the slow start to the winter season that we are probably all experiencing. Looks like things turn for the better next week. See ya out on the snow!

We've spent the last few days in our shop helping out a friend with his 1956 Tucker model 443. Pretty common service for a machine that has sat for over a decade... Stuck valves, bad head gasket, expansion plugs/freeze plugs, and a laundry list of things that fail with age. Our goal is to get this old machine back on the snow this winter.

SOLD- POSSIBLY FOR SALE: Hey all, I recently acquired this cat. Bought it sight unseen. When I got it home and looked it over it's a little rougher than what we were hoping. It doesn't make sense for us at this point with the other projects we have going on. I thought instead of us putting this in our pile of projects, I'd like to see someone else enjoy this machine and get it back out on the snow. It runs great but it has been sitting outside for 20+ years which has froze up a track or two and has some rust in the upper frame tube. All very fixable just requires time. So if there's someone out there that is interested in an early Tucker 443 project, feel free dm me your questions. $20k is the price.
