Universal Studios Hollywood has you close to other great attractions - Los Angeles Zoo, Griffith Observatory, and the Hollywood Bowl.

This was my birthday present from my husband this year- getting to see one of my favorite singers at the Hollywood Bowl. And I must say, it is an amazing venue!

The Hollywood Bowl has lots of events and shows taking place. I recommend seeing what is on the schedule when planning your Southern California vacation. Let me know if it is part of the trip we are planning together, and I can share some Hollywood Bowl tips!

I always enjoy a fun character meal! Breakfast in the Park with Minnie & Friends at Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park is a favorite of mine because you never know who you will get to meet! The last time I dined there I was surprised to meet TWO favorite mice….and a Pooh bear and a Pluto.

We ended our trip with an Anne Frank Guided Walking Tour through Amsterdam’s Jewish Quarter before our introductory program and museum tour of Anne Frank House. I am still trying to process it all. There is much to be said for experiencing history where it took place.

We said good-bye to the AmaLucia today as our Adventures by Disney Rhine River Cruise has come to an end. We could not have asked for better weather for our extra day in Amsterdam! ⛅️

Our last stop of our Rhine River Cruise has us in Amsterdam. We started the morning with a canal tour before a privately guided tour of Rijksmuseum admiring the Dutch masters. Coffee and waffles on the Amsterdam mall complimented a perfect morning.

We departed Rudesheim and entered the UNESCO-protected Rhine Gorge on our way to Cologne. We took in the scenery from the sundeck as our Cruise Manager provided commentary of the many medieval sights we passed on our afternoon sailing.
