Our Colorado/Wyoming Section has generously donated around 100 new jackets through "Transforming a Life", contributing to the Coats for Colorado campaign by Dependable Cleaners. 🧥 These jackets will make a significant difference in keeping others warm this winter.

Last night the ITE CO/WY Section leadership came together for a Holiday Happy Hour at Postino WineCafe in LoHi. It was a fun evening of showing off our Christmas sweaters and cheering everyone's hard work this last year. Thanks to everyone that came out last night.

The ITE CO/WY Section December Business Meeting was held last week at Foga de Chao. It was a wonderful way to end the year celebrating great achievements.

New officers to the CO/WY ITE section were sworn in by International President Karen Aspelin.

Appreciation was given to Rae Stephani as her term ends as President. Thank you for your service to the members of CO/WY ITE.

The ITE meet n' greet evening was fantastic! A panel of project managers, featuring Alvan-Bidal Sanchez, AICP - Regional Transportation Planning Program Manager; Nora Kern, MPA - Subarea and Project Planning Program Manager; Todd Cottrell - Project and Program Delivery Manager; and Greg MacKinnon - Transportation Operations Program Manager from the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG), discussed the transition from planning to project ex*****on.

The WTS/ITE/ASCE/APA Fall Social was held last week at the Trainwreck Sports Bar in Colorado Springs. This event happens once a year where Professionals in transportation, engineering, civil engineering and urban planning from these four networking groups come together to connect. Great conversations over food and drink were enjoyed by all. A big thanks to all the organizers who made this event successful.

We're giving away 7 scholarships to undergrad and graduate students! Check out the website for more information, but don't wait! Applications are due Friday, 10/18! 📅 ITE Mountain District

Scholarship awards will be distributed on an annual basis until funds are depleted. The scholarship award will be given in the student’s name, and the award amount will be used by the student at their discretion. If you have any questions, please contact the committee chair.

ITE CO/WY Section is thrilled to announce our 2024 Meet ‘n Greet event in collaboration with the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG). The highlight will be a keynote panel of Program Managers exploring the journey "From Planning to Projects". Join us to engage with our staff and delve into the dynamic field of Transportation Planning. The gathering is scheduled for Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 5pm to 8pm, at the Wright Room located in downtown Denver.
