Chiang Mai is now in the recovery phase in areas affected by the floods, with water levels receding. Government agencies, local residents, and private organizations are working hand-in-hand on large-scale clean-up efforts to restore the city and prepare for the return of visitors.

Meanwhile, unaffected areas continue to operate as usual, including popular destinations like Nimmanhemin Road, Tha Phae Gate, Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Wat Phra Singh, Wat Chedi Luang, Chiang Mai Zoo, Chiang Mai Night Safari, and the Royal Park Rajapruek.

Chiang Mai remains as charming and beautiful as ever. We invite you to show your support and encouragement by visiting during this early winter season. Let’s come together to experience and celebrate the spirit of Chiang Mai!

Nong Bua Lamphu for Thailand’s most exciting province, Phu Phan Noi is a mountaintop viewpoint with some dramatic stone towers and cliffs. The views from the top looking down over Nong Bua Lamphu city are very cool and worth the easy drive up for. If you like a little adventure, jumping from rock to rock over the deep crevasses will get your adrenaline up a bit. Phu Phan Noi won’t be the best place you’ve ever seen, but if you’re in the area it’s definitely worth doing...

✨🇹🇭✨ His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen attend the Royal Kathin Robe Offering Ceremony by “Royal Barge Procession at Wat Arun” ✨🇹🇭✨

On, October, 27, 2024 His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen attended the “Royal Kathin Ceremony at Wat Arun,” also known as the Temple of Dawn. This special event, held at the end of Buddhist Lent, involves giving new robes to monks as a symbol of kindness and respect. 🙏

The “Royal Barge Procession,” with its beautiful boats and skilled rowers, made its way along the Chao Phraya River to reach Wat Arun, where the ceremony took place. This grand event is a rare and beautiful sight, celebrating Thai culture and traditions while honoring Buddhism and the Thai monarchy. 🎉💫

From Rain to Wonder: Discovering the Mysteries of Tham Nam Lod Cave!

We almost didn't make it, but the rain cleared just in time for the most incredible adventure! 🌧️ After a bit of uncertainty due to the heavy rain, we were thrilled to discover that we could still take a boat tour through the stunning Tham Nam Lod cave, located in the picturesque Mae Hong Son province of Northern Thailand.

The Tham Nam Lod cave is a vast underground system with a meandering underground river that has carved out impressive stalactites and stalagmites over centuries. The complete darkness and the-eerie silence of the cave create a truly unforgettable atmosphere.

Navigating through the winding passages of the cave by boat was an exhilarating experience, filled with moments of awe and wonder. It's a must-do activity for any adventure seeker visiting Chiang Mai.

Have you ever spotted whales in the heart of a forest? In Phou Sing, Bueng Kan Province, Thailand, the 75 million-year-old rock formation known as Hin Sam Wan, or the Whales Rock, emerges majestically from the mountains. These rocks resemble a family of whales when viewed from certain angles, with the "mother" and "father" whales accessible by trails. The "baby" whale rock remains off-limits due to its narrowness. This geological wonder is part of Phu Sang National Park, which also features hot springs, caves, and waterfalls. The local legend tells of these guardian whales that once protected a village before transforming into these majestic rocks, serving as a reminder of the villagers' duty to protect nature. Celebrating Thailand’s national sport: "Muay Thai"

Muay Thai (Thai boxing) is Thailand’s national sport and deeply ingrained in Thai culture. Muay Thai traces its origins back centuries to the days when it was a form of unarmed combat performed by Siamese soldiers. The style of boxing has become more refined over the years and while it’s still a tough sport, a high level of skill and strategy is also involved. Muay Thai is dubbed the ‘art of the eight limbs’ with fighters able to make use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins. Even if you don’t normally like boxing, watching the pre-fight ceremonies and experiencing the atmosphere at a genuine Muay Thai fight make this a fascinating cultural experience.
