A few months ago, I shared that I was putting Salida Walking Tours up for sale due to some physical challenges. After seven unforgettable years of exploring Salida’s history and ghost stories with you, my knees and back have asked for a well-deserved rest.

But finding the right person to pass the torch to? That’s been like searching for a needle in a mountain of needles.

Then something amazing happened.

Your emails poured in with encouragement, stories, and ideas. Hearing how much these tours meant to your vacations and family traditions was humbling—and it made me realize I needed to find a different solution to keep sharing these stories.

So, my team and I went back to the drawing board to find a way to share Salida’s magic without the wear and tear on my body. After weeks of brainstorming, we found the answer: cloning myself. Well, sort of.
