About Our Company
Select Sites Group has been in operation since 1994. The company incorporated in 1996 as a limited liability company. We presently have 3 full-time staff members, along with our transportation partner, Flood Transportation LLC, our floral designer, Suzan Sickling and up to twenty "on-call" part-time staff. Our company has been voted the best event planning and destination manag
ement company in Bermuda 2004 through 2012 and again in 2014 by the Bermuda business community. We have been included in the editorial section of the Bermudian Business Magazine. The company was highlighted in a June 2008 feature article in the Bermuda/Caribbean meeting and incentive guide, a supplement to Successful Meetings. In July 2010, our company was featured in the PreVue Magazine, for meeting and incentive managers. Ownership of shares within Select Sites Group is by Starla Williams and Chris Williams, distributed between the two as dictated by local legislation, with 3 directors. The company owns a considerable amount of our own equipment, stored in a leased warehouse, in close proximity to the key convention/incentive hotels. We enjoy a close relationship with the Bermuda business community and we are members of the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce as well as the Bermuda Business Development Agency. We enjoy a high percentage of referral business from local insurance and banking clients as well as overseas clients. Key Members of Staff
• Starla Williams - Owner / Executive Vice President. Twenty-five years of previous experience within the hotel sector as Director of Sales & Marketing for companies such as the Doral Resort & Country Club, La Mansion Hotels, Trusthouse Forte and Hilton Hotels. Creativity in program development is a specialty.
• Chris Williams - Owner / President. Twenty years of previous experience in the Hospitality Industry as Food & Beverage Director and Executive Manager of properties such as the Hamilton Princess Hotel Bermuda, the Helmsley Palace NY, the Biltmore Coral Gables and Trusthouse Forte. Production and operations are a specialty. Our specialties
