The Rappahannock County Farm Tour is coming up fast! This year's Farm Tour is September 28th & 29th, from 11 - 5 each day.

Hayrides, farm animals, mounted archery demonstrations, goats, sheep, chickens, cows, bees and apiaries, wineries, a brewery, pick your own apples – there is something for everyone to enjoy! Have fun while learning about sustainable agriculture practices, with the breathtaking background of beautiful Rappahannock County.

We have SIXTEEN great farm venues on this year's Farm Tour. It's FREE, and you can choose your farms and travel at your own pace.

Rappahannock friends! Now is the time to pick up spring honey from Laughing Duck Gardens, Apiary, & Cookery! Know that when you see the Purely Piedmont label, you're truly buying local! 🐝🍯

The 2024 spring honey has been harvested, extracted, sieved, and in buckets. The jarring is in process, and the first cases have been delivered.

Find the freshly harvested Rappahannock Arboreal Honey at the Sperryville Corner Store, Wild Roots Apothecary, and at Walker Bakeshop LLC located in the The Marketplace Sperryville Virginia. Delivery to F. T. Valley Farm at Mont Medi later this week.

Spring honey is more delicate than summer honey, and this is a beautiful and delicious light colored honey. Summer honey is darker and more robust, but this year we may not get much of a summer crop if at all, due to the drought. With hardly any rain over the last 2 months, plants are not producing much nectar. Not only are the bees not collecting nectar to make honey, they also need to eat (when the colonies are at peak population) and they eat... honey!

We are so excited to invite all of you to the grand opening of our new farm store location at 3091 Orange Rd in Aroda! Many of you may know this building as "the old Aroda store" and we are so excited to show you around! RRRC, in partnership with Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock Counties will be hosting a free training workshop this fall focused on event planning tips, tricks, and best practices for small businesses throughout the region.

The training will be held on Wednesday, September 20th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at Old House Vineyards (18351 Corkys Lane Culpeper, VA 22701).
