We are trying something new… and would love your thoughts! We rent our home on AirBnB. A common complaint of this platform (and others like it) is that the nightly rate and the final cost are often wildly different after all of the fees have been tacked on.

In the spirit of transparency, we are ELIMINATING OUR CLEANING FEE for all new reservations starting today. This means the nightly rate goes up a bit to absorb the cleaning fee (we do love our team and plan to continue to pay them fairly). It also means that a massive fee that would show up before you book is gone.

Would love to hear your thought on this…

If you love this we will likely stick with it. If not, we can easily change it back.

Our welcome committee yesterday on the way to the cabin. To say we love Packwood is an understatement. The people, the wildlife, the wilderness… Packwood has our hearts.

A lot of people come for the mountains (Mt. Rainier is, of course, the Queen), and fall in love with the community. That’s our story, to be sure.

White Pass is open and we have some winter wonderland openings. Book your stay today!

We have earned status again! This is because of the amazing TEAM we have that ensures the cabin is spotless, well stocked, and full of thoughtful touches.

When you next stay in an AirBnB, I hope you will take a moment to appreciate all of the people that support your 5-star experience.

Today, we are thankful for our cleaning team. Among the many sweet things about doing business in a small town, the cleaning team are also now friends. We feel very blessed to have found them!

We have some openings in November and December. If you’re needing to escape to the mountains… we hope you’ll give us a chance to host you!

Sunset views on the way into town. While Rainier is often the main event, we shouldn’t forget about Adams who is also in the hood. So much to explore here!
