Both are offered select nights in November and December. I’ve been to both and thoroughly enjoyed myself! Last year was the debut of Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios and I will say, that one is better for adults and older teens perhaps than kiddos.
If Mickey’s Very Merry is Sprite, Jollywood Nights is more like Perrier. Both delicious, but I think we know which one the kids are picking between the two. 😉

🗺 Maps! I love maps - especially when it’s somewhere new to explore! This one is a just-released look at Disney’s second private island destination - Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Guests sailing on Disney Cruise Line will be able to explore the area next month.
We’ve also received some details about entertainment at Lookout Cay.
“RUSH! A Junkanoo Celebration” will be celebration of Bahamian culture filled with colorful parades of dancing and music. There will also be games to play at the Play-Play Pavilion during the “Fun in the Sun Beach Bash.”
And of course, your favorite Disney characters will make appearances in some super cute outfits.
I can’t wait to experience this area for myself - I already love visiting Disney’s Castaway Cay and how it extends the amenities of the ship with food, soft drinks and kids clubs included. Not to mention Serenity Bay adults only area 😎. Lookout Cay will offer the same perks but with all new spaces and details to explore!

1900 Park Fare, a character dining location at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort recently reopened after a lengthy closure and so far, glowing reviews are rolling in!
Super fun character greetings, wonderful food, and updated decor are all receiving praise. You might be wondering what Aladdin as Prince Ali, Mirabel, Tiana and Cinderella have in common. At first glance, it does sound like an odd mix but, there is a reason - they are all “Wish Makers” and by visiting them at 1900 Park Fare, you are a Wish Maker too!
Your server will present you with a “Wish Makers Dining Experience” card and will prompt you to think of a wish to write down before the “Wish Ceremony.” This is such a fun interactive touch and gives you something fun to discuss with the characters when they make their rounds. On the back of the card are autographs from each of them, a fun little souvenir.
Fun Fact: Did you know that this is currently the only place on Walt Disney World property where you can be guaranteed to meet a prince?

🌈🎨🖼🎶 Epcot’s shortest - but maybe the best, and definitely the most colorful - festival starts today! Epcot International Festival of the Arts begins January 12 and wraps up February 19. It’s a such a short timeframe but it really is one of the best times to go when you factor in the typically good weather and kid-centric activities happening during this festival.
The Art guests will experience extends beyond what you might expect to culinary masterpieces, a Broadway concert series and performance art - you can even get in on the action yourself adding to a collaborative mural.
Littles can use the sidewalk as a canvas for chalk masterpieces, or adventure around World Showcase on a scavenger hunt with Figment to learn about the great art masters.
Figment is definitely stealing the show again this year with this fantastically themed popcorn bucket filled with rainbow colored popcorn. It even lights up! It’s available by mobile order - would someone please snag me one??

3 Ways your Walt Disney World Vacation is getting easier - starting tomorrow - January 9th!
🗓 No Park Pass Reservations! As of January 9, 2024 Park Pass Reservations will not be required for date based tickets - the standard ticket type. Hooray for not needing to worry about checking the availability calendar!
🎢 ALL DAY Park Hopping! We’ve been limited to hopping after 2pm for YEARS which really hindered a lot of plans, not to mention, took value away from the Park Hopper ticket option. Starting January 9, you can hop to your heart’s content - maybe even try the 4 park challenge?!

Scenes from an adorable - and EMPTY Super Nintendo World at Universal Hollywood! 🍄🌙
It WON’T look like this when you are there so here are some top tips from Universal Hollywood Pros:
⏰ Purchase the Early Access ticket to Super Nintendo World, and arrive before the park opens. On a recent visit, Universal Studios opened at 8AM for early access guests. By 8:20AM the line to the attraction was already at a 60-minute wait time! 😱 Since the land is located on the Lower Lot, it takes about 10ish minutes to get there so plan accordingly.
👸 The character meet and greet sets are about 30 minutes apart from each other. There are signs at the entrance of each queue to make sure Guests are aware when the next character will come out to take pictures. Since the area is normally busy, the Team Members often allow guests to queue up about 15-20 minutes before. This also means that the Team Members have to stop lining up guests past a certain point every now and then because the characters have a schedule to follow. Be kind!
🌟 If you purchase the Power Up Band, it is possible to collect coins and keys throughout the land, as well as the attraction. The band comes with a map that will allow Guests to know exactly where the interactive areas are located. The interactive areas are very popular so patience is key if you want to have the full experience. Psst…just like in the video game, there are some cheat codes floating around that can help you collect quicker!
🍄🍽 Toadstool Café may or may not have a reservation system implemented when you are visiting the land. Double check with the Team Members at the front of the restaurant to see if reservations are needed.
👉✨Another tip that can save major time on your visit: Express Passes are a life saver when it comes to visiting the rest of the park! Super Nintendo World is likely to take a big chunk of the day, so having the opportunity to see the rest of the attractions in Universal Studios with very little to no wait time is epic.
