Coventry Morris Engines have cancelled both their August Bank Holiday rallies
at Lyndon Top and Brailles Village Hall.
We still have a few spaces at Malvern for this long bank holiday weekend.

Wolseley have extra pitches now available at Harlyn Sands as they are back on the beach field for all 5 weeks this summer

On a sad note, I read Broad Lane Caravans (latterly of Alcester) who started in 1971 in Coventry,
have gone into administration with the loss of 34 jobs.
The administrators have kept a skeleton staff whilst they explore options.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control and dwindling rally numbers we have had to cancel this rally.

LONGBRIDGE RALLY UPDATES

Hi all,

Unfortunately we have had to take the very difficult decision to cancel two of our upcoming rallies as we have no Marshall’s to run them.

Cancelled rallies :
Evesham Rugby Club. 24-27 May
Shiphay Farm - Holiday Rally - 10-26 August

We do have good news however. Our rally at Monks Barn Farm 28-30 June was very close to being cancelled but James & Kelly Blyde have offered to run the rally for us . It will be their very first rally as Marshall’s for our Club and we would love your members to come and support them.

Afternoon campers

We have some rally updates for you ....

Alvis CCC Spring Break Week
Grange Farm Campsite, Wainfleet, Lincolnshire

This Wainfleet rally is going ahead as advertised on page 20.

Excellent value at just £110 for the week, with electric hook up.
Includes use of toilet and shower blocks.

Within a short walking distance in the village are several Batemans pubs,
along with a super chippy and Co-Op convenience store.

Regular trains to/from Skegness, just a 10 min ride.
Regular bus to Skegness or Boston for just £2 each way, or free with an ENBP.

Last call for this rally, spaces still available,
we need your full payment by this weekend please.

Afternoon campers

Details of our annual "twixmas" winter walk round the Warwickshire countryside follows .....

Its not a rally with any overnight camping,
just a mornings winter walk that typically starts/finishes at a country pub,
where you can stay on after the walk, and have lunch if you wish in the nearby pub.

Our friendly rambler, Leander Stribbling, has offered to lead the walk again this year.

Meet from 10.00 am
for a 10.30am start
at The Blue Lias Inn
Stockton Road
Stockton
CV47 8LD

Walk duration around 2 hours
and if you wish, stay for a meal and drink in the pub afterward
or if you don't want to walk the walk, come after 12 noon just for the pub lunch.

Bring your friends, family, dogs, wellies and outdoor walking gear etc
as it's likely to be cold, wet and muddly on many of the surrounding footpaths & fields,
but the warm and friendly atmosphere will make up for the climate.

Free to attend event, any car parking and pub lunch/drinks etc at your own cost.

Himley Hall this weekend 13th-15th October.
You can arrive anytime after 1pm this Friday. Signs and flag will be out. Thanks to Brian Taylor for taking them early for us. We as your Marshals, Aidan and Sharon Campbell, should be there around 5ish depending on traffic. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Just wanted to give everyone the heads up about an “old-school” rally planned for 15th/16th September at Binton Social Club, Stratford. There will be food available, music and a games evening GAMES NIGHT planned. There’s plenty of outside space where we could play, cricket or rounders or the usual Games that caravanners like to play! Ha ha.😂

On the doorstep is everyone’s favourite… Beautiful Stratford on Avon …..with river trips and everything you could wish for on a great weekend. Also, within a couple of miles is the fabulous Welford on Avon golf course.

THIS REALLY IS A RALLY NOT TO BE MISSED!!
