Malta's Vacant Grand Harbour

✅ Fort Saint Angelo, Birgu - Malta | As one of the most fortified forts on the island, Fort Saint Angelo played a big role during the days of wars throughout history.

Since it is on the seaside with full spectrum view of the natural Grand Harbour of Malta, we could see these amazing views, some people chilling and an empty Grand Harbour (which usually is jam-packed with Cruise liners and other vessels).

I Found An Abandoned Camp In the Bushes | Malta

✅ Wied Blandun, Fgura | Malta - I went for the exploration of a 150 year old water tunnel in this area, which you cannot find on any map but was I successful during this expedition?

I've encountered some interesting things in this valley in the south of Malta. From wells, chickens to a camp (which I wasn't expecting that).

✅ Traditions in Santa Lucia | Malta - It is the Holy week and for the Holy Thursday (Hamis ix-Xirka in Maltese language) before the pandemic all the churches around the island would be packed throughout the week as this is one of the most important feasts in the calendar.

For many years though, in my village of Santa Lucia my long time friend Terrence Ellul, got the idea to create this Candle formed Cross and in the evening of every Holy Thursday, together with his small team.

Join me in the dark to check out this cross lit to interpret the atmosphere during this holy week.

Went off track but we've found this abandoned village in and thank God for that.
•
From burnt buildings, trashed tunnels, a dark bunker, wooden catapults used for movies and what seems to be like a childrens playing ground with carousel and swings.

🎠 Malta's Weirdest Luna Park 🇲🇹

✅ MONTEKRISTO ESTATE, HAL-FARRUG - MALTA | This Luna Park (Family Fun Park) has seen better days.

We ventured inside this big area (size of a playing field) that seemed abandoned for weeks or months (you know when plants have wrapped the equipment) and have seen better days.

This is what we've experienced...

We almost missed it!

✅ LUQA - MALTA | As I love entrepreneurship and support other fellow entrepreneurs, I went to visit my friend Dorian's new accountancy office.

Dorian, opened his 'next to home office' in July 2020 during the mist of the pandemic to set up The Accountants - An Accountancy Business.

I might start this as a series on my channel (both locally and when I restart traveling)

🔒 Locked outside this Red Tower 🇲🇹

✅ Red Tower (St. Agatha's Tower) - Mellieha, Malta | It could be seen from kilometeres away up in the hills of Mellieha countryside, this Red Tower was built by the Knights of St.John and was used also in WW2.

Sadly, we couldn't get inside (or as I've seen also going on top of the tower) ...pretty much we were locked outside of this Red Tower which was recently given a face lift especially a lick of that world famous red paint that is in evidence as you can see in the video.

P.S - As this place is open thanks to volunteers who help out, in these pandemic situations, I understand why sometimes it is closed.

Enjoy this vlog and the amazing surroundings from the highest spot in Mellieha.

This tower have seen it all! Fights, blood, suffer, wins, fear, anxiety and the resiliency of the people.

It was built by the Knights of St. John and was heavily used in WW2 due to its location and was just restored last year.
•

🏨 I found this Abandoned 1980s Hotel with crazy views | Mellieha, Malta 🇲🇹

I went to explore to new territories in the uphills of Mellieha to check out this Abandoned 1980s ApartHotel Complex. Join me and Charlie to this expedition of what's left of this hidden building that is surrounded by flora and fauna, 23k trees and plants and crazy views of the seaside.

Few kilometeres away on the outskirts of the village of Ghaxaq in Malta, I found these beautiful surroundings, nice farmhouses, fertile fields and this 160 year old Church of Christ Redeemer (Santu Kristu Church).

Love to shoot in the Golden Hour.

I managed to grab my camera with me for a midnight walk inside Marsa Industrial Estate, Malta.

(It was a bit creepy, to be honest)

From active businesses and warehouses to abandoned ones, this was an experience captured through my lens at night.
